Tips For a Fool(Travel Advice)
"After an extended argument Burres also got McCandles to accept some underwear and other warm clothing she thought he'd need in Alaska. 'he eventually took it to shut me up,' she laughs, 'but the day after he left, I found most of it in the van. He'd pulled it out of his pack when we weren't looking and hid it under the seat'"(Krakauer 46).
Dear Chris,
I know I'm not a travel expert but Dual survival is one of my favorite shows and I know a good amount of survival tactics and with the amount of gear you have Chris anything can help, especially when your in Alaska. I know it might be a moral thing or something seriously man, your health is more important. There are many times in this book were people offer you stuff and just never want to accept it and it drives me crazy because all of that stuff could have saved your life! When you are working with nothing you got take everything you can get, bottom line. No matter what your morals are survival comes first, you should have taken the clothes. The more and more i read this book i get the feeling that you went into this knowing you weren't coming out alive, which causes me to feel sorrow towards him but not sympathy because it was something he could have controlled.
